Reading Notes: Ancient Egypt, Part B

The Two Brothers: Part One

  • The wife of Anthu attempted to seduce Anthu's younger brother, Bata.
  • Bata refuses and as a result, the wife tells Anthu that Beta beat her up.
  • Anthu becomes enraged and sharpens his blade.


The Two Brothers: Part Two

    • After the truth was revelead, Anthu returned home and killed his wife.
    • Bata relocated to the wilderness and was given a beautiful wife by the gods.
    • Warned  her never to go outside.


The Two Brothers: Part Three

  • Bata's wife leaves the house despite his warning, drawing alot of attention.
  • The suitors destroyed a plant that help Bata's soul.
  • Anthu arrives and restores the plant, bringing Bata back to life.
  • Bata becomes a bull.


The Two Brothers: Part Four

  • Anthu rides his brother Bata, who is now a bull.
  • Beta revelead himself to his wife, they bore a son
  • Beta reigned for thirty years.
  • When he passed, Anthu took over.


The Book of Thoth: Part One

  • Men want the famous book of Thoth
  • A feast was had after sailing to the book

The Book of Thoth: Part Two

  • The man was able to enchant the sky, the earth, the mountains, and the sea after reading a single page from this powerful book.
  • Had another feast to celebrate.


The Book of Thoth: Part Three

  • The book OF Thoth is buried

Hey everyone,          My name is Donovan Mbroh and I am now a senior electrical engineering major at the University of Oklahoma. I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas where I graduated from Trinity Christian Academy in Addison, Texas. The most important thing to me is my family. My mom also specializes in psychology and frequently attends events as a public speaker concerning race, reconciliation, and diversity. My dad is the head of an engineering firm in Dallas. My parents are both from Oklahoma so I am very familiar with the area. I have another cousin who attends Oklahoma and many relatives in the area as well. I am a huge sports fanatic, especially when it comes to basketball and football. Oklahoma's strong sports presence was definitely a factor in me attending this university. Week 7 Story: The Antidote

There was once a man named James who was backpacking through West Africa, hunting for wild-life. While he was exploring, he came came across a ditch with three figures inside of it. These figures were revealed to be a leopard,  a serpent, a rat, and a man. They called out to him and begged him to help them out of the hole. As a hunter, James initially felt that he should only let the man free from the hole, but after great deliberation he helped them all escape from the pit. They all swore to make it up to him and prove their worth because of this great act. A few days pasted and the serpent found James and offered him a very powerful antidote for snake poison. He told James that all he needed to do was mix the serum with a traitor's blood and the victim could then drink it and be healed. James thanked the serpent, and made sure that he always carried the serum on him. The Leopard proved his worth by joining James  in his hunting trips, and helping him catch his prey. That same w
